This image illustrates a pie chart that discusses how the British accessed the internet in 2010. Majority of the population accessed the internet using cable, at 47 percent. This is followed by mobile and dial-up at 22 and 12 percent respectively. On the other hand, 19 percent of the British population did not have internet access. The figure for mobile can be expected to increase from 2010 onwards, as more people begin to use smartphones that have access to the internet.
