It is evident from the graph that UK residents’ visits abroad is greater than the overseas visits to UK. Overseas visits to UK increased from 18 million in 1989 to 30 million in 2009. The UK residents’ visits abroad has almost doubled from over 30 million in 1989 to approximately 60 million in 2009.
